they're both great cars, but i've had a lotta experience with both. my friend bougth his accord the same week i bought my camry. so far (thank god) I just had to fix an oil leak. He put atleat 6000 of work in it, every week it goes to the shop.... toyotas are more reliable

honda has no supra..... toyota is more dependable, honda's have more easily accessable less expensive aftermarket parts, honda never released a turbo car in the u.s. i see at least 10-15 souped up civics a day, getting boring. why are you asking anyway?
toyotas are better overall over basically in reliabilty over any car. honda on the other hand if you are going to get one buy one pre- 1994 before they were taken over by i believe it was ford or another american company i'm not exactlly sure which it was. the pre 1994 models are more reliable but u just have to factor in the aging of the parts.
i have a 89 toyota camry le with all the original parts except the flywheel and front calibers. the fly wheel was worn down and the calibers i changed for the hell of it. they were old

run them till they die or until you die, which ever comes first

what da... honda has never been taken over by any company.. especially an "american company" okay.. :-?
I have nothing but the upmost respect to MOST honda owners (especially the drag racers).
Look guys, whether you like Honda or not, let's face it. There would be NO import scene in the US if it weren't for Hondas... think about it.
true true, but damn, ppl have customised them so much that they dont have anything else to do to them... thats why people are converting like a del sol front to a civic front, or an accord coupe to a skyline body... its like getting outta hand...

truthfully honda was taken over by an american company just like ford owns most of toyota but in the agreement with toyota that it will remain a japanese program instead of a transfer of production cause they figure y should they change a good product. many car comnpanies are owed by a dominant major company but they just keep the name
