Got to ask - how many miles on the car?

The factory plugs should be good for 100K miles under normal driving conditions.

I just ordered a set of NGK IX Iridium plugs. $6.22 a pop from rockauto.com.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I'm at 55,000 miles The only maintenance i have done on the car is engine oil change, i heard spark plugs need to be changed every 45,000 miles or something like that.

^ Eh...no. Not for the car you have right now. The plugs are good for up to 100 thousand miles or more.
