SR-5 Engine Swap

Ok, I think I finally found an engine to swap with my lame ass 3vz-fe, I was helping my friend work on his 4Runner yesterday and I noticed a few similarities: they are both 3 liter, both have around the same HP, and both are V6. I know the SR-5 has more aftermarket parts out for it, and can be turbo'd or S/C'd, plus I was behind a Lexus IS300, that had all Altezza badging and whose liscence plate said "Alteza", but under the chrome altezza badge were the letters SR-5T, so I was thinking he either swapped n SR-5 J-spec Turbo in there, or is just badge-happy and ripped off as many badges as he could to just make up an extra extension making it : Toyota Altezza SR-5T (add more letters here)... Can anyone tell me if this is probable, because the SR5 is about the same size as the 3vz-fe, and sits about the same and I already have heard of a 6 Speed Tercel with an SR-5 motor swap, driving around town!!!
