5S-FE Mounts

Hello everybody!

I bought a 92 Camry and noticed the torque strut (dog bone) at the top was busted to hell. I got to checking and the bottom front mount is busted as well, probably the cause of the torque strut failure. This car was had by a little old lady and needs some work. The car is an automatic.

Here is my problem:

1) I don't have a digicam so I'll do my best!

Now onto the real problem!

The factory mount looks like this:

Every parts store or online shop I go to gives me these:

AUTO:

Manual:

I really don't want to get the car torn apart and have the wrong stuff!

So which one should I buy? OR are they both wrong???

Or should I just go to the dealer and get it??? UGH!

Does anyone have a part number for the correct mounts??

The first pic (which is exactly what I have on my car) is from a parts store in UK.

The others are from partsamerica.com, here in the states.

Surely, I don't have to get involved in international shipping for a damn motor mount!!?!?!?!?!

Please help!!

Thanks,

Matt

yes, both are wrong, i'm thinking those are for the rear or tranny. the one you are looking for is that first pic.

umm...you didn't give too much info so i'll assume it's a V4...hehe, kidding, I4 and you are here in the US.

you should just go down to your local big box auto parts store and ask them. don't do pepboys, they are usually more expesive, try a kragen or napa or the like.

so...give them more info......the only difference you would see is that some of them may come with a bolt on the top, that's a simple fix....screw it off. but other wise it shouldn't look so drastically differnt.

hmm...interms of tools, make sure you have a breaker bar.

and search, trust me on the subject of mounts. there is a wholl lotta info in the this forum on mounts and tips on how to replace them.

edit:

ps, Welcome to TN.

middle pic should work just has bolts in it already and nuts screw on at botom. bottom pic/mount is deffinatly wrong for ur car because its for mine (manual transmission). so i say go to toyota and get the right one if you want to dish out the money for it othewise get the top or middle should both work.

Got her figured out guys. The mount in the first pic is what I needed. It's Pioneer 601114 (solid) and Anchor 8485 (Hydraulic) if anyone else needs the p/n's.

Thanks again.
