Just to know if the Camry LE tires (P205/65R15) will fit on the Camry SE (P215/60R16)? Since the overall all circumference is still the same, I would assume there would be no problem? Could I go even smaller (width) for the tires like a P195/65R15...?
Asking this because I shopping around for winter tires and rims for the upcoming winter.
call me a noob and give me a wedge..but aren't those two difference rim sizes? one is 15 and the other is 16

noob question. well. if the overall circumference is the same there should be no problem. but i would keep it close the same the same size tire circumference. use a tire calculator. i would just stick to the 205 width tires compared to the 195

I called my local toyota dealership and asked the parts deptment, if I go use the Camry LE model tire size (P205/65R15) on my Camry SE. The individual informed me that would be possible as it would be off, he said that you would need to stick with the current dimensions (P215/60R16). I know the overall diameter would be off by just a bit, but did the individual over the phone gave me the correct information?
it is narrower and you will not have any scraping problems.
if you have P205/65R15 and go to P215/60R16, u will need spacers.
i did that it there is no problem
Nope. I went from 205/65R15 to 215/50R17, and I didn't need any spacers. For him to go to 215/60R16 is the same. Overall wheel size barely changes. If he's got a Gen 5, no spacers necessary.
