Ticking sound

Hi,
I recently bought a toyota camary 2005 (le v6). For some reason when i drive down hills fairly slow I hear a very soft ticking sound coming from the back of the car.

Any ideas?

Is the ticking sound a metallic sound? If not it may be a simple rock stuck in your tire. I travel down dirt roads alot and when i get on pavement i get ticking sounds as my tire spins.

I am assuming since you are going down hill you hear the noise when you apply the brakes. If so then it could be that the brake shoes or pads are moving slightly and causing the noise you are hearing.the only thing is if this is the case you would probably hear the noise any time you apply the brakes at low speeds.
