I hate that, my 2003 camry has the exhaust hanging really low. It bends into a U and goes under the rear axle. Then back up. When i go over speed bumps with people in the car the exhaust hits the gorund right were the 0/2 sensor is.

That is what makes me afraid to get a lowering kit. Because i dont want to crush my exhaust

the pipes arent low. what are you all on about?

its just (almost) as tucked up as the chassis rail.

maybe you shoudl stop driving over dips at 30mph or get some better shockers.

My car is a 2005 ... never been off-roading ...never hit any dips ... although I'd like to.
Next time you are behind a gen. 5 or 4 pay attention to what's hanging down. No other car has this crappy look. Looks like an after thought ... oops, forgot the exhaust system.

O-K seriously guys. This thread is going to be soon if you all keep this off topic like it has been. I agree with terrastrife on this one. The exhaust IS tucked as close to the body as freakin possible

Mod. Please lock this thread

Yeah, mine does hang a bit but have not had any problems with it scraping even with 2 adults in the back. I have had problems scraping the rear edge of the muffler body with a full load when going in/out of my driveway since my car is lowered with the Solara/Camry TRD springs.

Because its a shitty design. Change to an aftermarket, mine fits right up under the chassis.
