i got an 88 camry delux and theres a few rusted spots around the fenders, whats the best way to go about fixing these?

use putty?

but then again if you're not a pro just go to a body shop and ask them to do it. At the end of the day you dont want to see different colour patches all around your fender

well i got paint from a buddy of mine at a dealership, and i have a filler but i dont know what i need to put behind the hole before i fill them i had heard of fiberglass patches anyone else ever used these?

if your not authorized to spray automotive paint, you should probably let an experienced person do it. it should say on the can that only authorized ppl can spray. you dont want to just sand down the area and fill it in and paint it. its far far more complicated than that. it you do it that way you will have horrible color matching and the paint may start to erode not to long after.

if you want to do it right, make sure you let an experience person do this.
