Chilton's Repair Guide or Toyota OEM repair guides

Ok here's the question. Does anyone know if the Chilton's Repair Guide for a 1998 Toyota Camry is worth it or not? or should I just buy the two really thick repair manuals that Toyota sells. I know the Chilton's is like less then $20, and the OEM repair manuals form Toyota are like $60+ each. I want to start preparing myself on knowing more about my car and if something happens, to be able to fix it myself if its within my power to do so. So, is the Chilton's just as good as the Toyota OEM guides?

It probably depends on how in depth you want to get with your repairs. As far as every day repairs go the Chiltons will be fine as far as mechanical type stuff. When you get to the OEM manuals you get a lot of flow charts and diagnostic charts and things of that nature. if you ahvent looked at the repair manual that is linked at the top of the page I would recommend that before you get the OEM manuals. Look through it and see if you need as much info as they give.
