i would go for the body-kit...but since the winter is coming.....so...save it up....but for the DVD player...i dunno.....i think it's kinda waste of $$ for that....cuz couple of my friends has it too...but they SELDOMLY use it.....rite now i have the same problem as you do....i have enuff $$ for body-kits and lots of stuff.....but i chose of changing for WHOLE sould system....the deck...sub...amp and speakers.....after winter i would lower my car...and last step is body kits....so it really depends what you need the most now....i don't think you would install the kits during the winter time.....

that's my two cents.....

Do you have a I4 (5S-FE) or the V6 (1MZ-FE)?

If you have a V6 i'd get the supercharger if you don't already have one.

If you got the money for the Body kit i would probably get the suspension done first.get Tokico struts and Eibach/TRD Solara(cuaes they drop the car more) then get the whiteline sway bars and your set for a while. Then when you want more looks get the TRD body kit and some nice mags.

Hi ya Ben,
I asked one of the guy from a dealer in the US and he said the TRD body kit would fit the 2000 Camry, but it came painted with the colour not available in the 2000 model so I have to see whether it worth the $$$ to get it repaint. My other concern is, if I going to get TRD lower springs with Tokico and the body kit after would this make the car too low? We have lots of snow here in Ottawa same as for you in Montreal so not sure if the kit would stick to the car. What do you think? Or anyone have any input I would be much appreciate. Thanks

I agree with Ben. Wheels and suspension first, then the kit.

Watch your DVDs at home.

I don't think that lowering your car would make much of a difference in the snow. I always see plenty of stock Camry's stuck in the snow, lowering would not make the situation any worse. Hehehe, I've got 4WD!

I watched a guy in a Camry understeer off a right turn, into opposite traffic, and into a snowbank. All this with the POWER ON- I could see the front wheels desperatly trying to grip. I did the same thing with my old Sienna. Power on and power off is understeer. 4Runner in the snow does power off understeer, power on oversteer in Hi-4. BMW does oversteer, oversteer, and oversteer...hehehe! Bring on the winter!

But, in your situation, I would get suspension first, rims and good tires (you should be able to get them cheap now since off season) second, bodykit third.
OR, sit out the winter- get supercharger in spring.
Why would you want to watch DVD's in your car while a home system would EASILY blow away any car system...just a thought.

I was worry about the kit falling off rather than get stuck in the snow, of course you got 4WD, there's no problem
