probably nothing.

not that its an easy job, you gotta make engine generations between the 2.

wait a seic.. you said 3sfe, just get a 3sge if your fe is dieing.

and ag6286 wtf does that have to do with his question?

you probabl yhav ea gen 2 (camry) so a 3sgte is a good choice. you can reuse stock tranny if youre not going for big numbers or gonna thrash ya car everywhere (manual right?)

and dont say your easking because you happen to have GE heads (and nothing else from the same engine) sell it and get the whole block.

**edit***

lol, woops, had the wrong mind set, for some reason i had it in my head, that head was = piston type yay for the duh moment.....probably cuz i have been stuck in my mechatronics class the past 4 hrs when i responded...too many ideas floating through my head during the class (i was in class when i wrote it). I think the even more sad part is we were designing and piecing together engine components using PRO-E software during the class

again tho in response, realizing again what we are actually talking about....changing ur FE -> GE head u will notice quite the difference in high end, because of its wide angle (over 40 degrees i think) and it will allot better air flow for higher RPM and higher HP; however the only drawback is less torque on the lower end

Probably he'll lost power and torque. Different piston, even lower then FE compression with FE piston in GE head.

i want to put a 3sgte but swapping out the head is alot cheaper and arent doesnt the 3sfe and 3sge have the same block just diferent heads ? right ? so why wouldnt it be a good idea to swap my economy head(FE) for a performance head (GE)?

Have you done a COMPRESSION test yet?

Do you know what your rings are like.

How sick is it RIGHT NOW?

Maybe paying attention 2 a whole lotta threads here
concerning pod filters, AFMs , spark plugs, leads, timing & the
like would BOOST the poor gurls performance??

Just asking.... <shrugz>
