help on installing some springs tomorrow

hey everyone... i've finally managed to find a bit free time tomorrow and i've decided to install my lowering springs. i was wondering if anyone has a picture tutorial of the installation? it would make the install go alot smoother... it seems like a fairly straight foward project but this camry manual doesnt have the best of descriptions to take out the springs. also i was wondering if/how much i should cut off the bump stop? should i cut off the bottom or the top? i know these are pretty dumb questions but i want this to go smoothly as possible since ive got volunteer work later during the day and i need my car in action. thanks in advance for all your help everyone! ya'll are the greatest!

oh yess. i did try the search function but of course its acting all weird and everything

Hey zeek...how much did those eibachs drop your car? Was it enough? And how did u like the ride? I am looking at getting either Eibach or h&r...i would rather get Eibach but they only lower my car 1.0in(front and back)..i dont think that is enough ...and the h&rs only lower mine 1.25in(front and back) but that is better then 1.0in...let me know what u thought..thanks

1/4 coil every try,

most springs are different (accounting for wear and metal fatigue)

If you are using Eibach springs on your Gen4, then the recommended trim is 20mm on the fronts only, and cut from the top as that is typically the hardest part. This was extracted from the Eibach's warranty paper I got with the springs. For other brands, you'd probably have to check with the manufacturer.

i never installed them, i got the for a good price on ebay then ppl warned me of the bumpy ride, and that my old shocks would go out fast. im gonna drop it next summer.. so i sold them, i wanna buy both shocks and springs.
