I only got a set of stainless steel brake cables....

for wheels, i actually would not recommend getting them from tirerack

the prices are good....but with shipping, taxes, UPS fees....it'd be cheaper to get a set locally at a tire shop

Hm........How much is a decent set of summer tires? Would those 25 dollar ones be terrible for summer?

^You get what you pay for.

We ordered new Toyo Proxes for the G6 and it's going to be about $150.00/tire and those are right in the middle of what we looked at as far as pricing went. We coulda spent 78 bucks and got Kumho's but we wanted something that we had experience with.

Welcome Kyle!

1st time I used Tire Rack, I ordered a set od struts. One was the wrong kind and I needed them ASAP, as I was going to colege on Mon, and this was on a Thurs. And there is no Delivery on Sat. I called up and told them my situation, and they overnighted the Strut for a Saturday Deliver. TOP NOTCH Service. And I rarely give that to companies. I'm also a Small Business Management major.

I have no experience in this, but is there a big diff in summer tires? Or is the main concern just getting a set which does well in the rain?

Howdy, Kyle. I was just down at your HQ getting winters, the other day. Not trying to sound like a shill or anything, but IMHO Tire Rack is pretty awesome. Knowledgable, friendly, good stuff at good prices.

Also, I really like that you let SCCA and PCA / BMWCCA (among others) use your test track. It sort of feels like a second home, to me

Yes, if they give us a discount I'll order a winter tire and wheel package today. Last year I bought 8 tires from Tirerack. Kyle, hook us loyal customers up.

I appreciate the question but unfortunately am unable to offer additional discounts from the advertised pricing. I will try to be as helpful as possible but will have to use prices as listed.

How about free shipping? People like to feel like they are getting something for free, or at least getting a deal. C'mon, I'll order a winter tire and wheel package now.

I'm a Jew (Seriously). I like a penny if it's free.

I'm not a jew, but I did marry one. Hah, anyway, I gave Kyle and Tirerack a shot. I just ordered a complete winter tire and wheel package from Discont Tire Direct. They offered free shipping and tire pressure monitoring system both of which Tirerack didn't offer. In fact, I got larger wheels and tires and still saved over $150. Like I said earlier, I bought 8 tires from Tirerack last year, but not this time.

Edit: Discount Tire called and they don't have the TPMS for the OEM wheels. I also ended up going to a 15" package with Yokohama tires.
