4th Generation SS BrakeLines/H4s

Hey!

I just got some G-Stop SS lines from tire rack. excited to install them. Do they need to be broken in or anything?

Also i got Yokohama H4s tires all around, and was wondering is it bad to mix tire pressures?
for example. My fronts are 38psi my rears are 35 psi. Reason for me doing this is because the front my car is like a whale while the back is like a penguin. The front tires look flatish around 35 or less, so i decided to pump them up.

on the sidewall the tires read max 44psi at some pounds...(i forgot right now). I'm assuming it should be OK?

Thanks and Happy Holidays!

i got the same tires, i keep them at 38 all around, i doubt youd have any problems with mixing them dude.

love them tires btw!! they are amazing in the rain, and grip like crazy! only gripe is they arent as quiet as the yoko dB's were, these were QUIET!

No need to break in the lines. Just install and bleed the system and you will be good to go.

thanks all!

yeah the yokos are great! i just had them out in the rain and wow...much better than any other tire ive ever had. under max braking the ABS barely went off!

yes they aren't as quiet as a lot of other tires out there, nor do they feel as smooth...but they're sticky and real good for the price.

dB's are on another level man!

sigh i can't get the bolt that attaches the line onto the strut...

i broke some tools in the process but its a miracle that the nut its okay.

do i need to use both a wrench and a ratchet? i noticed there was a on the back of the strut, so i guess if i twist in opposite directions it would get it loose?

haha i really dont want to break any more tools! thanks for any advice!

amazingly even after damaging bits and what not the bolts havent been stripped...
guess im getting better at keeping the bit on the bolt but it just wont budge.

is this the type of wrench you're talking about?

what difference would that make vs. just using a ratchet/crescent?
