Camry Rear Strut Install

I have a '00 camry and recently the rear strut went on her. Picked up the part today and was going to work on the install this weekend. Just wondering if anyone else has tackled this before and if they had any tips or info to help me out!

Not 100% positive on Gen4's, but on Gen3's (92-96), you have to pop out the back seats, take out the side supports, and pull off the rear deck. Then you can gain access to the bolts holding the struts in place. To remove the struts, you'll also need a hex key and wrench to disconnect it from the endlinks. If you plan on just replacing the strut and reusing the original strut mount/spring/boots etc., you'll need a spring compressor and likely an impact wrench to get the top mount nut off.

Thanks guys. I picked up a service manual this week to check out the procedure. I also searched the site and could only find gen3's. But it works about the same for the gen4. Back seat comes out, take off a few bolts and what not. Bolts came out good, considering all the rust our cars up here get from salt and winter. Removed the entire strut and put a diff one in. Really wasn't too bad, took about 1.5hrs, and most of that was getting the seat out
