99 Solara 18" Offset/Tires

I have a 1999 Solara; I was planning on get 18x8 TSW Montage or TSW Vortex. Whats the recommened offset and tire size?

Tire size would be 225 40 18 but it gets close to the fender and may require a fender lip roll.

P 225 40 Rim 18 offset +45 = without any rubbing issue IF YOU ARE using your STOCK suspension

If you use aftermartket suspension such as Spring/Strut, (TRD/Eibach springs, Toliko blue strut etc.) you might need to do the fender lip roll like Kyle stated above.

Im using STOCK suspension due to the ROADS where i lived are very bad, alot of pothole and Rails, i have no rubbin issue at all with P225 40 R18 offset 45. But the heighs n the wheels doesnt look that nice though. i have no choice, snow is on the way also.

If u want ur car to look hot, i suggest the TRD Springs and Tokico Struts. for rubbin issue i think 42 is ok if u dont over loading. Its all depend bro, u ride 4/5 peoples everytime or ur alone. To be ensure, do fender roll !
