Are you suggesting 225/55/17? Since the stock for the 07 Camry SE is 215/55/17, this will increase the overall diameter by 1.61% or 10.92 mm.
I have heard of the 3% maximum rule for upsizing. In the above example, the diameter is only 1.61% bigger. Will this be ok? I don't think there will be any rubbing issue with such a small upsize. I think the engine should handle the increase diameter ok, especially for a V6. The odometer will be off slightly, but that not a big deal.
Is it ok to upsize from stock 215/55/17 to 225/55/17? Thanks.
