Unhappy what size please??

I have a 2007 camry LE with stock alloy 16 inch rims. I want to go to 18's. I would like to fill up the wheel well a bit more than the 16's do, but I dont want to lower the car (change out springs). What sizes can I get for the 18 rims and which ones will fill up the wells nicely, while not hitting the edges, or compromising too much on the braking etc. I'm willing to give up some acceleration and from what I understand I need to be careful of weight. There are so many options out there that I get overwhelmed and just need guidance on what would be a good fit. Please tell me the pros and cons for the sizes you recommend. I'm thirsty for knowledge.
Thanks in advance.

We always use a 225 45 18 in an xl or reinforced tire. I am unsure of how high you can go beyond this and you would need to test fit. It wouldn't hurt to go with the taller tire and clearance would be the only issue. I don't think the vehicle will notice much difference with the slight increases you will be able to add. Give me a call to discuss the details.
