I just purchased a new 2007 Toyota Tundra Regular Cab 4x4 with the 5.7L engine. The vehicle has Michelin 255/70-18 tires on it as standard equipment.
I live in Anchorage, Alaska and winter is coming on us fast, so I have begun my search for the best winter tires I can find for my vehicle. The problem seems to be that not many winter tires are available in the size I need.
I have used studded Nokian Hakkapellitas on my other cars for years and love them, but it doesn't appear that Nokian makes an 18" tire anywhere near the size I need, so I am looking for suggestions/recommendations for other winter tire brands to fit my new Tundra.
BTW, I have purchased my summer tires through Tire Rack for many years and have always had excellent service! Thanks!
