how to mount new tires?

for tires bought from tirerack, how much is a reasonable price to mount & balance? (I mean the total price as installed per tire incl disposal fee etc etc...)

i called some of the tirerack installed near my zip (27560) and heard as much as 25 bucks per tire plus tax! and these are for 215/60/16. I felt it was high...

I pay $11 per tire for my local Discount Tire to do that. That does not include valve stems or disposal.

We always replace the valve stem and use a rubberized bead sealer especially on the alloy rims. It runs $20 per tire for mount, ballance, and disposal.

My local tire store charges about 20 each to mount and balance and disposal if I just bring in tires to them. The price for tires are always great from them and all the labor is included. Therefore I never buy online and support my local shop.
