USA Stock Aluminum wheel with 285/75/16

I am looking at replacing the tires on my 05' stock Tacoma.
I am currently running the stock 245/75/16 tire. Will the 285/75/16 have any problems mounting on a stock aluminum rim? The reason I ask is that I am not sure if the width of the stock rim is wide enough for the newer tires?
Would I require a lift kit?

Thanks!
TC

I believe the width is 7" on the stock wheel and normally the 285 is recommended on range of 7.5-9. In regards to clearance you'll add about 2.3" in overall diam. from the current tire which would be split above and below the axle. I'm unsure if it will clear without issues ....may have to do some measuring to see. Let me know if I can help.
