T100 tires

I have a "97 T100, which has stock tire size of 235/75R15. I want to upgrade to 16" wheels, so what size tire should I get (to maintain stock performance)?

Sizes you could use with overall diameters are as follows: 235/70-16 28.9, 245/70-16 29.5, 255/70-16T 30.0, 265/70-16T 30.6. Overall diameter of 235 75 15 is 28.9 so 235/70/16 would be exact. The following link will let you search by size: Tires . Let me know if I can help.

Thanks for the info - I was also thinking the 235/70-16 would be the proper size; interestingly, Toyota also had a stock 16" tire size for the '97 T100: 265/70-16. Why wouldn't they have gone with the 235?

Likely just wanted larger tire for a 4wd option. You could get away with either choice.

incentive to buy the 4WD, the larger tire looks better and handles better for someone who will be offroading
