Will 17 in. wheels and tires fit a stock 08 Prerunner w/o issues?

I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma TRD Prerunner which has the stock BFG Rugged Trails of 265/70/16.

Was wondering if a 17 inch wheel and tire would fit in w/o any rubbing issues. Also, if it fits, will this raise the truck any?

The 08 will accept 17" wheels/tires without rubbing issues. The link below will let you shop for wheels and tires. Tire size will be a 265 65 17 if you want the overall diameter to remain the same to your current tire. The truck won't sit any higher unless you pick a tire with a larger overall diameter. Do you think that I can go with the 16 inch wheel and go 265/75/16 with no lift, just stock height?

The 265 75 16 would be roughly one inch taller and should fit without a lift. Send me a message if I can help.
