4th Generation Quick Struts?

I have a 1998 Camry LE with 130k miles and I need to replace the Struts and Mounts. This is a commuter special, so performance is not necessary.

What is the advantage of buying the quick struts? It appears that they have everything you need to replace the struts and springs too.

Will I need everything that comes with the quick struts?

I didn't think I was going to need to replace the springs but if the cost is minimal, I will.

Thanks,
ACW.

the poinbt of the quick strut is you have everything needed new, inc the mount, the stru, and the spring...

=they are a lot of money, and if u buy the parts seperate u save money, but quick struts are easier to install (dont have to compress the spring...)

so, if u dont need springs ro mounts, then dont get quick struts.

Quickstruts allow Monroe to charge you more money for strut assembly than the labor would cost at your corner tire store. I had strut dis- and re-assembly done for $25 and a six-pack for a pair. You'll likely not need new springs, but newer mounts are a good idea.
