Winter tires for 2010 Corolla

I currently have P215/45 R17 tires on my car. If I wanted to get 16" winter tires, what size/width would I get. Would it have much impact on my speedometer reading?

For the summer 17" size, it recommends 215/45/17, and the preferred tire is yokohama s.drive.

Your speedometer will only be effected if the overall diamater of your tire is different than the overall diamater of your OE tires.

We recommend running 215/50R16 Right now it will be hard to find snow tires. Snow tires are only built once a year and usually go on sale in August and September.
