buying a set of wheels..

hello discounttiredirect,

i am planning on buying a set of wheels (combo rims+tires) next weekend and i have already decided which model i would like to buy. however, i saw the spec and was wondering if there's any other width size for these?

i am buying a DRAG DR23 17X7 5-114.3 40FB with 225/45/17 tires (brand undecided). so i was wondering if there's any possibilities to get a 17x8 instead of 17x7?

thank you
Angel

The DR23 is only available in a 17x7 width. What vehicle are you putting these on?

I see, i wil going to put these on a 1996 toyota camry 4cyl. I guess i have to go with 17x7 then. On tires, i know that it probably recommend a 215/45 but how much difference if i go 225/45?

Most 225's are approved for a 7" wide wheel. With the 40mm offset you shouldn't have any issues with the 225/45R17 on your Camry.

Here's a Tire Size Calculator to help you estimate the size differences.
