OZ or Enkei ?

i will take delivery of a white 2010 Corolla XRS in mid november. i plan to install the eibach pro-kit springs for some drop. then i will most likely get into a set of 18" wheels. weight being of major concern for this under powered car i was thinking one of these two. i like them both, but with everything there's always something i think that could be changed to make it perfect. the Enkei rim has what looks like a extra lip, where the "enkei" writing is, etc. the Ultraleggera was a replacement for the Superleggera, the only thing i dont like about the Ultraleggera is that the spokes end on the rim lip. i would have opted for the OZ Alleggerita but they dont come in silver.

so which would you choose?

Enkei RPF1 17.8lbs 18x8

or

OZ Ultraleggera 17.6lbs 18x8

Both look good. If I had to decide I'll probably go with the enkei

i didnt list prices since they vary quite a bit from vendor to vendor, but OZ is a tad more expensive then the Enkei's.

Get the RPF1s. They look better and cost less.

OZ wheels are more suited to European cars IMO.

I greatly dislike the 'extended spoke' on the OZ rim.

i really dont like that either. OZ redesigned the Superleggera and came up with the Ultraleggera. OZ corporate has told me that the new design was lighter and stronger. the Superleggera III (forged 3 piece) is available, is a very nice rim, but are around $800 each !!

the Enkei J10 is also a nice style rim, but way too heavy at 29lbs.

right now i'm favoring the Enkei RPF1.

I like both but I like the longer spokes on the OZ. It just makes the wheel look bigger. Plus the center caps are an extra $25 each for the Enkei!

Good choice! The RPF1 is a sick wheel. It was my first choice but family obligations only allowed enough coin for a set of BBS Reps.

sick in what ways? to me the styling is nothing great or dramatic. i really like some of the wheel designs that TSW has but they are way too heavy. Enkei and OZ have wheels that are super light, which is exactly what a under-powered corolla needs. unfortunately, super light comes with a price.
