Question to Discount Tire about Warranty

I've had my tires on my 1994 Camry V6 for 2 years and 8 months with 19,xxx miles on them so far with 5/32 tread life left. My warranty on the tires are for 50,000 miles. I was wondering, what exactly does this warranty mean? Does it mean that if my tires fall below 3/32 I get a new set free or what? Typically, how many more miles (mostly city , once a week highway) will my tires last before I really need to change them?

Mileage claims are adjusted through proration based on the miles driven once the tires hit the wear bars. Typically speaking, at 5/32" your tires are 1/2 worn so you should easily expect another 20K miles of service. This is assuming proper maitance and alignment. To accurately gauge the life left on your current tires, I recommend a visit to your local Discount Tire.
