Smile Which tires should I get? Help very much appreciated!

Hi all!

I have a 2007 Camry XLE 3.5L with stock tires 215/60-16. I will be driving cross country in 2 weeks from NY to LA and I need to get new tires, and I would greatly appreciate your help!

There are so many tires out there and I was hoping you guys can give me a recommendation on which tires are the best for me, which will save me a whole lot of time.

I will be in Southern California so I won't need a winter/all weather tire and probably need a sport-type tire, with good handling that can get me some good mpg's tire?

What is the best tire I can get for around $75-90 per tire on the discount website?

Thanks for your help! you guys are great.

Thanks for posting. For your Camry I would recommend the new Yokohama Envigor. This is a new tire from Yokohama they have a 60,000 mile warranty and they would be great for a long distance run between CA and NY. If these are a little more than you want to spend the Falken 912 is also a great option. This tire has a 65,000 mile warranty and it gets consistently great reviews on our website. Both of these tires are considered High Performance All seasons. These would be great tires for a daily driver in the LA area. Both have excellent water evacuation. Both ride smooth on the highway and both will give you plenty of dry traction without compromising your MPGS.

thanks Travis!

If I had to choose between the Yokohama Envigor, Michelin Hydroedge, or Dunlop SP 60 which would be the best for Southern California driving?

I will order as soon as I know which one is best.

Thanks in advance!

From that list, go with the Yokohama Envigor.

I purchased those Yokohama Envigor tires a month or two ago. I like them so far compared to the Michelin MXV that came with the vehicle. Wet and dry traction are good and it doesn't snow here. Comfort wise it feels about the same. Steering response feels faster than the Michelin tires.
