Winter Tires!

Do you guys have any deals going on with winter tires? I have that gift card from that contest you had awhile back.

ANd i need some winter tires. Something affordable. 225-45-17. I'm in ontario but i will be traveling to Michigan soon. And i know you have stores there.

Just wanted to see what prices you can offer. Up here everything is inflated and it sucks!

Thanks for the post. We would be happy to help.

We have a lot of rebates running right now as well as instant savings on new sets of wheels (hint hint) that can you save you a big chunk of money. If you are looking to make your purchase in-store, I recommend contacting the store in MI. directly to see what they have available for you.

If you are looking to purchase mail order, below is the link with all the winter tire models we have available in the 225/45-17 size. Give us a call at 1.888.459.4080 if you need any assistance selecting the best tire model for your needs.

Thanks for the info!! I actually had my friend in MI go into the store and find out some info. I have that gift card you guys were giving out from a promotion. So i just wanted to see if that would still work even with the rebates. And it apparently will! So i am going to have him pick up or order the rims for me and i'll make a run to Michigan when he gets them.

Again thanks for the info, much appreciated!

What's the preference...studded, studdable but not studded, studless, performance?

There are a bunch of other choices besides those 3 in that size if you check the other popular tire site.

I loved my Nokians and always recommended them but their prices just got out of control. I still have WRG2's as my 3 season tire after they wore to the snow wear bars. I currently have General Altimax Arctic (Rebranded Gislaved Nord Frost 3) for the Sequoia which performed just as good if not better IMO than my Nokian Hak SUV's for half the price. For the Sonata I bought Continental ExtremeWinterContacts for this coming season as they also got great ratings and will let me cross rotate to even out wear. Both are available in your size and Discount Tire should be able to get them for you if you order before getting there. Not to mention Blizzaks which have their own cult following like Nokian and Michelin. Multiple Pirelli choices as well as Dunlops and Michelin. Check your choices, driving preference and read some reviews.

Like recommended DEFINITELY get the spare rims as it saves the hassle of mounting dismounting twice a year which is at about $100 every time anyway.

^ Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I have 19's for summer, and i got the 17's for winter.

Doesn't look like my MI trip is going to pan out as planned.

I'm getting some Michelin Alpine PA3's though
