Canada 16" Summer Wheels for 2010 Corolla

I'm looking for suggestions for 16" summer wheels for my 2010 Corolla. I use the stock rims for my winter tires. I'm not doing any other mods, just wheels. I don't go to the track anymore, but the wheels need to be able to take potholes at 120km/h. What wheels work? What wheels should I avoid?

I could spend the rest of my life looking at wheel websites, so I'm hoping to focus my search a bit. Thanks!

Being in Ontario and you want sturdy wheels that need to be able to take potholes at 120km/h - Steel rims.

Actually, I ran on Rota Slipstreams on my last car and they survived. They were 15" 4-bolt, though.

Pretty much any wheel will do that.

The biggest factor in determining durability is the aspect ratio of the tire. For shoddy roads, I wouldn't go any less than 45-series.

Drag makes excellent wheel models. I suggest looking into the Drag DR-9.

I'll take a look, but I was hoping for some real-life experiences - the good, the bad & the ugly. Maybe it's too soon to get feedback for a 2010 car.

I can appreciate that.

Although I do not have personal experience with Drag wheels, they do make excellent wheels. As always, Discount Tire stands behind all the products we sell so if you ever run into an issue with a purchase made through us, we'll make sure you are taken care of.
