I have no idea what engine Toyota has put into that shell, maybe 3-4 litre V6 Lexus. 500hp out of a 4 litre engine is not much but out of a two litre engine it is. Generally it is common for cars produce 100hp per one litre of engine capacity. You can squeaze almost unlimited amount of power with Nitros and Turbo but that engine won't go far. If you look at an everyday roadcar that you drive to holidays and work, 400hp from a 2 litre engine is pretty much the tops. Of course assume that you use that max power every now and then. Talking about the power output is one thing but if you talk about car's performance the only thing that matters is power to weight ratio and grip.
