how to install inverter?

Exactly what wires would i tap into to install an inverter?
I'm going to put one under the driver seat of my 4runner.

What wire would splice into for the power, and i assume i just attach the gound under the seat somewhere?

thanks for the info

It might be best to run a new power wire to the battery, and use a fuse near the battery.

[Shameless Plug]I have a EDIT:Streetwires, not stinger 10 gauge amp power wiring kit, I'll sell you for 20 shipped.[/Shameless Plug]

I agree, this is the best way- it's what I did to power my ps2 in my car

there aren't any other wires in the car that are thick enough that you would trust running an inverter through in the car...most of the stock wiring is 16gauge wire, and inverters draw a lot of current
