You should get rid of the coax's(ebay them) then invest in a set of mids and tweets for the fronts and some raammat and ensolite foam.

You have an 8053, so you can wire active, and you have a 4 channel amp so you can wire active.

All you need is a set of mids and tweets.

For 160 bucks you can get a set of Phaze Audio Tubedriver mids for 80 bucks for both and a set of LPG 25NFA tweets for another 80 bucks.

Or if you want a REALLY nice set of speakers.

Seas Nextel W18NX Excel

http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/...ead.php?t=1025
http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/ind...25255&pid=1940

with a set of LPG 25NFA Silk Tweets

http://www.diymobileaudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9

Or a set of MB Quart QSD tweeters if you can find them.

Still not too exspensive and will stomp on alot of other stuff out there.

Should I leave the rear kickers in and just take the front ones out?? I have an '05 Tacoma so as you know, the 6.5's are in the rear. Is there a baffle that I could buy for the mids to fit in the 6x9 slot??? Also, if I wire active I will only have one more preamp outout for subs, correct?? Well I am wanting to get 2 subs and 2 amps (already have 1 sub and amp) is there a way I can run both of those to the one preamp output?

That's up to you with the rear speakers. I don't like rear speakers personally.

Marv makes a baffle for the front speakers to fit a round speaker. Search for Mr marv on ECA and his contact info is in his sig.

For the two amps thing, your sub amp most likely has a line out. You can run an RCA from the preout of the amp to the input of the next amp. If not there's always Y Splitters.

If you're not comfortable with wiring active, there is plenty of good component systems under your budget. The Arc Audio ACS265 are in the mid 300's. Then you'd still have money left over for Raammat.

HID are basically lights for your car....its very bright and doesnt take as much power as the stock ones...you can look for a set on ebay for a fair price...make sure you get the h4 double filament bulbs though so you'll have the high beams still

No.

If you're going to get HIDs -- don't skimp. Illegal HID kits are easy red flags for cops and are prone to failure. If you're gonna do it, do it right. D2S projector retrofit + OEM Philips/Osram bulbs/ballasts. The parts will run you no more than $400 and depending on how crafty you are, you should be able to do it....

Yup, if you're doing it the right way.

But forget about lights, let's freak out your front stage!
