Chad and Dale (I think his father or brother) are very helpful. I called them and asked so many questions before I bought my AA Atlas 12. Unfortunately I never got to hear it since it was stolen from my car.

It was a very good looking sub and I had a couple comments about how the sub was very good design by a couple people here without ever hearing it!

^That's a shame

The jackass that stole it probably doesn't know how to wire it and is gonna blow it anyways.

I wanted to get there 15' avalanche, but it was sold out. Why are there products so cheap? I paid about 250 per 15' audiobahn and I gurantee that there Arsenal series would slaughter my speakers...Are they halfassing somewhere?

225 dollars worth of that Audiobahn was straight up profit, and to pay for their Marketing.

The thing with companies such as Ascendant Audio is that you buy the product straight from the company. You're not paying for thier advertising budget, or any of their non-existant magazine ads, or Articles that the bigger companies pay for to have some asshat at a magazine lie about.

All the research and development is done by the people you are buying it from. And there's also no middleman.

AA has no advertising, that I've seen, aside from their web site. Aside from that, it's mainly word of mouth advertising.

Yup, that's why you don't have to pay for it

BTW, all the people I showed the Atlas 12 to had a weird look on their face when I told them about the tuning coil, the one that gets resistor or jumper wire vice power.

I may get their components or maybe Exile components to go active Unless someone has better suggestion...

If you're gonna go active, then get DIY drivers. www.diymobileaudio.com

I'd like to keep the car looking as close to stock as possible.

So for the tweeters, the largest I can use is around 30 mm/1.2 in OD, and the mids, I can go up to about 171 mm/6.75 in OD.
