So im going active soon, which means the addition of 2 components. So i need someway to store them so im going to throw ideas at you guys here and look for comments.

First idea is one i saw off icix today.

dont know how good this would look with 2 different amps? esp ones that dont look nearly as good as the ed ones.

im opting for a stealth install as soon as i get my next amp. someplace cool and convenient (false floor?)

why show off your stuff so it can be easy picking? and ill save all those fancy installs for those show cars. i like ppl to hear great sound and ask "is this your factory setup, wow!"

well i too am going active, again. imo, i dont know how i could go back to passive, you have so much more control with an active xover system.

good luck, and if you end up using more than 2 amps, you may have to put in a relay for your remote on for the amps.

dont know if i wanna go stealth. room is an issue, im gonna have 3 amps and a xover so i was thinking that as an easy way to get stuff in and out of the way. Security isnt much of an issue, because if people can get that far then they can see the subs :-D

you would be surprise how smart some people are, they can disable your alarm quite easily if they know what they are doing.

well all you would have to do is build a box for the amps, that is vented and make shelves...

i know that if someone is out to steal my stuff then they will get it. Im saying that the security aspect of a stealth install would be lost because my subs sit right there. Once they saw them then all else is lost.

where are you planning on putting your stealth "box", i cant really picture what your sayin

u can make a custom holder ontop of the wheel wheel lump inside of ur trunk. 1 amp each on 1 side and mabe put the third amp behind the sub box or hide it where the spare wheels goes if u dont mine losing it

http://fresnoracing.ipbhost.com/inde...howtopic=14437

i could do that, but im not sure that those sides are deep enough. plus that would mean running power wires back across the trunk, possible interferance with the subs.

active means 1 channel to a tweet or a mid. so 4 channels to a component set, gives more control and more power
