how to make an inverter switched w/ ignition

well, i took your other advice and installed my inverter like an amp,
with a deticated power line to the battery with a fuse and all

but its kinda annoying to have to turn it on and off all the time whenever i want to use the DVD player since its undernieth my seat.

is there anyway to have it turn on and off with my ignition?
thanks guys

if it has a toggle switch then you should be able to remove that in light of a acc line. Not sure, that would work if it were a +trigger.

Heres what i would do. Id ask some like 88le also.
Dissconect one part of the switch, mabye the line that goes from the on to the board, splice that into a relay. Wire the relay so that it only comes on with a ACC line (like the headunit) and wire it back to the board. follow?

^ Rewiring the switch through a relay would work. But you have to find out what voltage the switch is working at.

Then get a relay that'll work at that voltage.
