quick q

hey guys, finaly got my alarm brain back from factory,

I want to increase the range of my remote, and im wondering if i and more wire to the antena an run it along the driver side winshield and to the roof, would this increase the range or just be a waste of time and effort?

Just try to place the Antenna reciver in the center of the windshield.

longer antenna won't help much. Plus the radio on the alarm is probably already made to use the antenna already there, ie the length of the antenna is match to the wavelength or partial wavelength of the radio wave.

i remember something about that in my electrical engenering class. ohh well will have to make do.
