I'm Gonna Try "ACTIVE"....

In the morning I'm going to try & tackle this new adventure.Today I got my delivery of my new Silver Flutes( http://www.madisound.com/cgi-bin/ind....4651&pid=1078)mids from Madisound, they going to be paired with the ID NX30 tweets I already had.For processing I'm going to be using the Alpine 9813 3-way internal x/o's.The only thing confusing to me at this point is,what should I do with the amps' x/o's?...Should I set Channels 1/2(front) & 3/4(rear) to Hi-pass?...or..Should I set Channels 1/2(front) to Hi-pass for the tweets & Channels 3/4 lo-pass for the mids?.....Any suggestions will be appreciated.

if you have a separate xover from the amps, then you will want to disable the amps xover if you plan to use the separate unit.

Yeah just turn them off. Just be sure to have the crossovers set properly in the headunit before you reattach the RCA's, (or just keep the volume at 0 ) lol

If your battery dies, make sure to either pull out the RCA's or turn down the volume as soon as you turn the car on.
