I have a Gen5 with the jbl premuim minus the subwoofer, just the 6 speaker system. I went to buy a head unit and they told me I would have to wire the speaker output directly from the head unit to the speakers. Is this true? I called Metra and they dont make a harness. Scosche told me I can use there TO2 harness but I have to connect before the amp. I don't want to cut into the fatory harness because I don't want to void my warranty, I want to be able to just throw the stock radio back in if I have to. Anyone, please help :cry:

you dont have to cut the factory harness.. you can get a harness adaptor that plugs into the harness itself.

Toyota changed some of the wiring harnesses in 2000. The 2000 Celica different harness from the other models. My best guess is find a harness that fits a 2000+ Celica

I spoke to METRA and Scosche and either make a direct cable yet? This stinks :oops:
