what do you like tight bass or low deep rumbling bass?
i personally like tight bass but my fifteen in its sealled box hits really hard and gets supreme deepness.
I wish i had two though
2 12" will definetly hit harder but my one 15" you can feel alot more on the deeper side.

If the 12W3 V.2's are better than V.1 then they should be a great choice. And I would be surprised if they are worse.

I heard a Image Dynamics IDMax setup...a single 12 ported (2.7 cubes @ 28Hz I think) on a JBL BP1200.1 in a Focus HB and I loved it.

(Subs I havent personally demo'ed but have only heard good things about)
Adire Audio drivers (Brahma, Shiva, and Tempest)
Beyond Audio Inhuman
Elemental Designs drivers
JL W7 (lotta $$ tho)
