A module to produce a Remote 12v Trigger???

hey guys one thing i hate about installing a sound system is looking around for a 12v remote ignition source to turn on amps

are there any adapters or modules such as the pac- tr-7 that can do that.

an adapter that takes speaker signal and converts it toa 12v remote for an amp turn on????

sorry if this is hard to understand

Is it for the Tacoma install?

If so, it's a thin grey wire on the back of the CD player.

i just used speker wire and a Nos switch to turn my amp on and off... just take one wire and connect it to the power on the amp and the other to the remote on the amp and run bolthe to the front where the switch is and connect it then when you turn the switch on the amp turns off and when you turn it off it goes off.. it works real well when you are driving and your phone rings... and it is runny when people look at it and think you have NOS.... lol

oo yea.. i had one of those things that you where talking about... i dont rember what it was called... but it didnt work i threw it away...
