What that person was likely reffering to was a combonation of strong amped fronts and subs. Whats your front stage setup?

Not to sound like a dick/jerk, but you should have done some research beforehand. We could have offered suggestions that would have cost the same or less and be ten times the quality.

That's okay, I'll do it for you.

Your stuff sucks -- big time. It would be in your best interest, both musically and monetarily, to return it.

I concur with my fellow enthusiasts, better can be done.......and dont do back speakers. Also wait til u get the fronts(amped of course) aswell b/c stock speakers with aftermarket amped subwoofers dont mix(will sound like shiat),been there, done that.

i paid less than 300$ for everthing.... and it was the only stuff that i could order from the catalog that we had... i got all the stuff from DBL... but it sounds way better than the crappy Checker brand subs that i had in there... if someone can get me something better for the same price... please tell me how... i cant take them back... but most of the stuff is still in the box... or is barley used so i could still sell it that way.... Anyone that has any good sugestions... please share... i am sort of new to the whole sterio thing.... i just know what sounds good... all that i have in my car so far is the subs... with my Jenson 600watt 4channel amp... and they dont sound too bad..

oo yea i should prob give you the retail value...
............... Retail .......... My cost
Amp.........319.95 .......... 119.99
Cap. ........149.95 .......... 69.99
Sub x2......259.99 .......... 57.29
Wire...........59.95 .......... 25.99
Total .......1049.95 ....... 330.55

i know there is better stuff out there.... but concidering that i paid less that 1/2 what a normal person would have paid and it is better than something that i could have got for the same price if i would have paid retail for it all.... it works for me...

if anyone can beat those prices.... please tell me how and ill sell my stuff to get better stuff.

See my thread here.

You could have gotten the 2.400 for 85 bucks, a cap is worthless, so that's 79 bucks you would have saved, the price for wiring is about right, that would have left you with almost 200 dollars for a single GOOD sub, and an enclosure.

so.... you are telling me that i should put it up on e-bay or some place like that and then buy what to be exact... and i know the cap is useless... i read the forum when i saw it.... i have the subs hooked up to 600 watts right now and they dont sound too bad to me... the do flex a little too much for my liking tho.... is audioban(i dont know if that is right) a good brand?? Lets say that i have 500$ to spend... what is going to get me the best bang for my buck... just subs... ill worry about the mids and highs later
And NO you havnt lost me completly i am still going back and forth between if i want to go for sound or speed... and i prob wont be able to decide so i am just doing a little of bolth...

This thread makes me want to

Get rid of your stuff for as much as you can and get something else. What exactly are you wanting? SPL or SQ? do you want super high end or what? About how many Watts of power (yes I know that was redundant) are you wanting??
