well, basically takes the rca outputs (left and right channels) from the tv and use them in the line input in your headunit - if you have anaftermarket headunit....

also, remeber that most stand alone LCD (TV units) have 2 pairs of inputs...which makes adding more equipment and more screens so much easier
generally speaking, you'll hook it up to the same power wire that's attached to your headunit, then it'll turn on when you turn on your headunit and get picture and sound together

you mean to put sound into it from the tv?... for a stock unit that doesn't have RCA inputs, you'll probably have to go the modulated FM route.

Then I would think that it would work ok if you wire it into the remote turn on lead that your amp is using. Maybe put a very small fuse inline. Do they make then that low though?
