Hooking up RCA's with NO RCA outs

Friends gf needs help hooking up the amp. Needs a line in through RCA. I was thinking you might be able to hook up the +/- on the speaker to the +/- on the rca's. yes?

if the amp has inputs for speaker wire, go ahead

if it's just RCA inputs---you'll need toget a converter to change your speaker signals to RCA

get it at any radio shop, even best buy for circuit city

has anybody else used the line input converters?

i used to have to use one on an mtx amp - and either i had one that was shitty, or i did a crappy instal with the connections - since the sound quality was horrible, and i also had troubles gettin the amp to turn on and shut off with the stereo system...

is it common for there to be a loss in quality with the converters vs. RCA?

In a simple powered Bazooka install in my g/f 03 Civic EX she had, I used a PAC SNI-35 as pictured below. Worked great. I can't really comment on sound quality since all the signal went to the Bazooka.
