remote start

so heres the breakdown. i want a remote start on my 99 corolla

i drove my uncles malibu this wknd with remote start and its pretty much the sweetest thing ever..okay so thats an exageration

anyway..how much will this run me? money is not really an issue as long as its no more than $500

http://www.circuitcity.com/rpsm/oid/...Detail.do#tabs

can i just get that? truth is im too lazy to learn how to install it..i dont mind actually doing the work..just dont feel like learning today..or tomorrow..etc

so yeah i dont want an alarm too..just the remote start..will that thing from circuitcity suffice? its 59.99 too much?

k thanks for any feedback

I worked as a Car Installation Tech at Circuit City, and i need to warn you that for every 5 installes of Audiovox Remote starts we put in 2 came back with problems. And it wasnt a install error. The brains go bad and malfunction alot.

I wouldnt buy a Remote starter from Circuit City they are cheap. And if u were to get in proffesionally installed it will run you around $120 to get it installed.

DEI Makes good remote starts like the one in that link. But go for a Viper or something.

that's gotta be wrong...or at least false...

you're gonna need some sort of soleniod to pop the lock and i know that will cost extra
