Upgrading stock speakers are these good replacements???

Hey guys finally I think I am going to upgrade my factory speakers.

I have a 2005 Tacoma. I think it already has components. 6x9 in the front and 6.5 in the rears.

Image Dynamics CTX6 2-Way Speaker

I plan to push these speakers... http://www.cardomain.com/item/IDSCTX6 with my Alpine IVA-D300.

I do not want to install an amplifier to run them. I just want a simple easy swap. Will these Image Dynamics speakers do the trick or no? What would you suggest. I don't want components either it's too much labor for me!

well.. for that much money and how good those speaker COULD be.. i would say it isnt probably the best choice.. now if you were amping them i would agree.. but since these are only going to recieve what 20 watts maybe.. then they probably are not going to sound as good as they COULD be.. Not saying they wouldnt be kick ass off a reciever.. but it seems like a big spend if your not going to amp them.. i think it would be more benificial to get cheaper ones that offer great sound without much power at all.. but.. really depends if you wanna use the money on it.. still great speakers regardless

I got no clue!!! I want to but where do I put the crossovers!!! I saw some JL Component speakers that don't have the crossovers. They come with the midbass and the tweeter! Will that be cool? That looks to be a simple install.

NO take those things out of the door man. After a while the components of the crossover will loosen up from the constant closing of the door. On the other hand it may force you to go active

AlpineJLAudio you can mount the crossovers in the area behind the rear seats.

if you can get them for that price those would be sweet.

New/Authorized I can get them for 365-370 shipped.
