6x9 subs??

Do any companies make ACTUAL subwoofers that are 6x9 inch??,,,,im not talking about 2 or 3 way 6x9s..but actual dedicated subs

none that I am aware of... I have heard of 6" subs before, not sure how good they are though.

you can just set the 6x9s to low pass and theyll provide some nice lows.

I know there used to be ones out there, but I have not seen any for a while. I heard that some are available overseas though.

There used to be a sort of tube that converted a 6x9 to a 8" or 10" size. Unsure of the material. I have not seen those for quite a while also.

I just showed you a link to a perfect example....

A lot of DIY subs fit into a 6x9 opening...

I'd probably give those a try, or the CDT 6x9 sub, but are you open to maybe a single 10" in a small sealed enclosure? You'll get much better results.

The Genesis 6x9 subs will probably be the best choice if you must go with a 6x9. You can get a quote from www.theautophile.com Might be more than you were thinking though.

I say try out the TangBand's.... They don't look bad at all...

and x2 on the Genesis sub. Anything with the word "Genesis" attached to you can pretty mcuh expect to pay an arm and a leg for...

Anything wrong with the Vifa's there at the bottom? I'm looking to get my gf some type of system. I'm thinking about ditching her rears and running some 8's or something (possibly the ED eu700's) IB.
