4th Generation Sat radio question

Installed a Clarion Sat-ready HU (dxz555mp) and connected it to the Clarion sat radio receiver (sircl1) through the ceNet connection. The problem is that the HU will not show the sat-radio band. I'm wonder if the receiver is not recognizing the connected hardware and is therefore not providing sat band. I know that this may be a brand specific question but I'm wondering if anyone has had a problem like this with any brand. Do HU's act like computers in terms of recognizing connected hardware? The receiver appears to get power through the connection but doesn't appear to be getting any power? Any help would be appreicated!

I don't really know what the problem is, check all your connections thoroughly?
