My CD player cost's 1,400 and it doesn't play MP3's.
It's not all about the doo dads and the dolphins and F1 Racecars whizzing on the screen, it's about sound quality.

PS Vacuum Tubes were replaced a million years ago by Transistors. Just figured I'd give Panasonic the heads up

So true, ive learned my lesson on that. My Panasonic CQ-7301u is great and all, but too much flash.
When i upgrade to an active setup this winter im also getting a higher sound quality HU.
And for that HU above, that thing is a beast lol. Vacuum Tubes are soooo retro. Wonder how it sounds?

oh god... i'm guessing not many ppl know that true hi-fi enthusist use tubes in their amplifiers. if you talk to any hi-fi enthusist and you mention about you having an alpine, MTX, infinity or other common consumer brand name, they'll laugh at your face so hard it hurts their stomache!!! And that include the F1 series!!
benefits that a vaccum tube brings is low noise = clean output, very ideal for high power applications
btw, has anyone heard or know about a brand call Luxman? mainly specialize in amplifiers.
they can be found in audiocubes.com or audiocubes2.com (hi-fi site)

In terms of home audio. Im into Hi-fi equipment, Cause for surround systems and such you use for everything.
But if im listenging to just a CD in my car, i dont wanna spend $3000 on a amp to do it. lol

I'd be more worried about the heat created from the deck melting the plastic surroundings if it trully uses vacuum tubes, but i think it's really kewl looking:-D. Notice the Bb in the middle for the scion guys:p
